Our family is looking for a hand-up not a hand-out. Please donate to our wishing well. My fiancé and I have 5 children and I am pregnant again. We have a house that badly needs repairs and won't sell without renovations made to it.

We are looking at selling the house. The problem is, it is in another state. My fiancé is in the defense force in Australia and was posted away from our old home.

Previous tenants severely damaged our house and we need to do renovations so we can sell it and buy a suitable home for our traditional large family unit.

My fiancé is back home after being deployed overseas and isn't being paid the allowances he was entitled to before. He did this to spend more time with our family even though it meant a major drop in income.

We both have maxxed out credit cards so we cant afford to do the repairs we need to do to the old house.
The children have told me they've noticed their Dad isn't as happy as he used to be. He is a diesel fitter and can put his hand to just about anything. He feels helpless because if we could get him a flight so he can travel back to the house, he can do most of the repairs himself.
