Medical Help--give $5 to help $500 get free
care

I am a volunteer with Remote Area Medical (their
website is www.ramusa.org).
It has been featured on "60 Minutes" so you
may have heard of this organization which provides
FREE medical, dental, and optical care to the under
insured or non insured working people in poorer areas
of the country in Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
On an average mission they help over 500 to 1000
people. |

This is a strictly volunteer organization and I need
funds to defray the cost of gas and lodging. I'm
an average working person (Nursing Assistant in a
local hospital) so I could afford to go on more
missions if I had the money to do so. It cost me
about $200 a trip but the price is going up with the
cost of gas alone. |

Donating is not just helping me--it's helping the many
people who need this care and sometimes sleep
overnight in their cars just to be sure they can get
help. Even a $5.00 donation would help. |
