Paying it forward... What
a powerful concept! |

Paying it forward is a
method of passing on a favor that has been done for
you,~ but rather than "Paying BacK" the person that did
me the favor, I will "PAY IT FORWARD" , |
|
I will do a "BIG FAVOR"
for at LEAST one person whom helps me out . You might
think that this SOUNDS impossible, sorta like a Pyramid
type of scheme, but think about it, For every one that
donates me, to help me get the medical help that I
need, I will do a "BIG FAVOR" for at LEAST one person
whom can help me out, with the goal of helping other
people, at least one person at a time. |

You may be asking
yourself "WHAT COULD YOU POSSIBLY DO TO HELP PEOPLE?"
well, let me share with you my plan: Patient advocate is
a big issue, There are so many people that can not stand
up for themselves as a newly diagnosis of a chronic or
terminally ill patient, and even those whom have been
ill for years have just given up on a cure, or hope that
there Is HELP for the chronically ill, such as Lupus, in
which I have had for 26 years. I know this, because I
used to be one of them. |

I used to stand in the
back and just listen to what was said, not ask question,
and just sink deeper and deeper into depression with
each doctor visit. Never any hope for a better life, or
the chance to feel like at least a Half way normal life.
Afraid to say that I was in pain due to so many doctors
not believing me.... You see, as my experience over the
last 26 years of my illness, "If the bone is not
sticking out of the skin, then how could I possibly be
in pain?"... At least that's what I have experienced
through out my life..... Most Doctors, through my
experience just don't know realize how painful Lupus can
be. That's just one thing that needs to be voiced, among
many others. |

Now, as I begin my
journey of Paying it forward, so that I can get "TO"
the medical help that is available for me, but can not
afford due to my being disabled and receiving only
$570.00 per month, and if you do the math, that amount
of money does not go far enough to purchase gas, let
alone to even own a vehicle. |
|
I will be honored to
continue my advocation for people to people, by paying
it back one person at a time, one voice at a time.
