Family of seven needs help
 | We are a family of
seven living in one household -- Pappap, Nana, two
daughters (both single parents) and three grandsons.
My husband and daughters work full time and I (Nana)
take care of my grandsons full-time. Neither
daughter receives any support from the fathers of
their children and the cost of raising the boys falls
on our household. We are in need of donations to
help all of us pay off bills, get caught up with our
bank rent, and get back on track financially. |
| The boys love
anything to do with Thomas, Transformers and Geo-Trax
toys. My husband and I love to golf, but it is
too expensive to get out as much as we would like.
Also, I recently had surgery on my left arm and hand
for nerve damage caused in a fall, so I am out of
commission for six to eight months. I also like
to take my oldest grandson on "dates" to see
a local AHL hockey team, as he loves to watch the
fights between the teams. |
| Things have been hard
for us for a long time and we are unable to borrow
money. We want the girls to be able to get out
on their own and be financially stable. As my
husband and I are in our late 50's, we would also like
to start thinking about retirement. My husband
has worked two jobs for 22 years and would like to cut
back to one job, although he loves both jobs.
