PLEASE HELP US FINISH THE
BUSINESS WE'VE STARTED

My daughters and I wanted to start a business for some
time now. We live in three different states and we
would really like to be closer. I have worked 2 and 3
jobs most of my life and it is time after all that
hard work to have a business of our own. Several
months ago we bought a takeout retail pretzel bakery
franchise. This pretzel company is one the top new
franchises in the U.S. We are very fortunate to have
had the funds to pay the franchise fee. We didn’t
think there would be any problem getting a small
business loan. However, we are running into a problem.
It seems you have to have twice the assets of the
amount needed to borrow. |
| We have good credit
and we have years of experience in the food/beverage
field including management. It has taken so long
for us to secure a small business loan. Now we
are getting down to crunch time. The location that we
plan to lease is ready for the rough plumbing and
electric. Not to mention the architect just completed
the floor plan and blue print drawings and that firm
is waiting patiently for a check for a mere $6000.00.

| For a start up
business loan we are told that $300,000.00 is not that
much money. We’ve just been turned down again
for the loan we need. The important thing is we are
regular working people and cannot afford to lose the
$40,000.00 already put out of pocket for this
business. We have worked so hard to get this far. I
hope someone will have the funds and be able to share
with us to get started. |
