Catholic School Tuition Is Bringing Us Down; We Just Can't Play
Catch-up Anymore
 |
We are a blissfully
married couple (pushing 16 years) with two children
attending Catholic school. Tuition is going up, but our
income is not. We are both employed full-time--oddly
enough, I'm employed by the very church whose schools'
tuition we're struggling to pay!
|
 |
The '90s and early '00s
were good times, or shall I say, we lived like they were
good times. We lived beyond our means, and it caught up
with us. Credit card balances and APRs went up, credit
limits went down, and now we're in a tough spot.
|
 |
We're in a Debt
Management Program now, but we still have a budget
deficit. Removing that tuition payment would take us
close to where we need to be in our budget, but we
really would like to continue with the Catholic
education. (We're both products of Catholic education
ourselves.) |
 |
Are you a Catholic school
survivor, or someone who values education? We would
appreciate any help you could provide. |
 |
Thank you in advance!
