I saw this current program on TV. My first thought was of this gentleman I saw a while back with a "Work for Food" sign. My first impression was, "He is just going to buy beer."

Then, he flipped the sign over and I read, "Need Beer Money." After laughing, I gave him enough for a six pack. I was just glad he was being honest with me.
My second thought was, "I would like to know more about this program." So after looking at this, I decided to sign up.

I wasn't sure what to write here. I am having a hard time right now, living paycheck to paycheck. I live in the real world. I know there are many other people worse off than me, including many that I have become friends with. It hurts me that I cannot help my friends - like Dave at the Waffle House. His roommate died this month and he really needs help. Or Eva - a nice lady I became friends with 20 years ago. Her husband left her a while back and she is struggling. Or Mike - in his 60's, who lost his job and car and is on unemployment. He is a great guy. My list goes on...

So here's the deal, if y'all have some extra money that you can send, I will use half for me and half for other people. First, I will get these three people their own site on here to help them out.

Then, I will continue by giving half away, whether it is to the North Texas Food Bank or Fort Worth Humane Society, or to another person that needs help. I believe in working for what you've got, so giving 50% away is a blessing for me.

In conclusion, if you want to help out this ole cowboy, I tip my hat to you. If you want to know what I did with your donation, just ask.
