Gentleman  who is a veteran, educated and who has held responsible positions
with Fortune 500 company for over 18 years.

Job loss, unemployment benefits ended and my home has been foreclosed. No severance pay was ever given, 401K benefits have been mismanaged and are not available.  I have kindly been advised by letter from the corporation that a class action suit was filed with the company who manages the 401K account.  Because of the legal proceedings, no funds are available for disbursement.  Consequence of the 401K circumstance has led to loss of my home.  I do not expect the funds from my 401K to be recovered and if so perhaps nothing any
where near what was invested. Why?  because of the economy and the recent trend of many banks and  financial institutions to involve themselves with derivatives and hedge funds.  I do not believe the bail out funds will ever trickle down to my 401K.

I have an aging father (over 80 years) who is in poor health. It saddens
me that I am no longer in a position to help.

My efforts are focused on the basics of survival.
I need help with living expenses shelter and utilities), car expense
(operational and repairs)  My car is over 12 years old and has over
137,642 miles. I actually need a newer dependable car but I will
try to make due with the one I have.  On occasion I need medical care
since I have no medical insurance.

I have worked hard and directed my life doing things that are
responsible and credible but it seems it is not going to get
me through without your help and continued support.

I have been actively seeking employment. On occasion I have
worked part-time jobs in summer  but they don't last long.
At the present time I am not working and have not been offered
a full time job for over 14 months.  I am continuing efforts to
search for full time employment.  In my spare time
I have volunteered with Habitat for Humanity to help others.
