Thanks for taking the time to get to my page. Anything more you can do for me is greatly appreciated!  Last summer, my best friend moved to get away from the town, his ex and make a better life for him and his 2 boys.  After an unsuccessful summer, several jobs, made the call to me.  I gladly told him I would drive down and tow the U-haul trailer back and him and his boys can live in my house til he gets back on his feet.  

Problem number one for me, is that I just lost my job, so couldn't really afford the trip, but not going to say no.   Happy yo have my best friend back and the boys, things where good.  He landed a steady 9-5 job with flexibility to get off and pick the kids up from school, take them to appointments and whatever else he needed with little grief from his employer.  The area I live in, the major income market was sliding down.  Less and less jobs available.  So I tried different fields of work, but none had the money of my original job. I found myself getting behind on bills, credit card maxed out with a 5 digit limit, and the mortgage payment not being made.  

My best friend was also just getting by.  Facing bankruptcy himself, I assured him everything is alright, and told him to take his time to pay me rent.  Last thing I wanted was his credit screwed over even more.  He had enough creditors calling him.  I never did tell him I missed 2 mortgage payments in a row.  Now I started to get calls from creditors.  Not to mention a truck loan and a bike loan, I was up to my eyeballs myself.  Still not letting my best friend know!

His boys are 2 of the coolest kids you ever met.  Very smart, they love reading, sports, playing with their friends.  9 and 7, look just like their dad. When they lived with their mom a year ago, they would miss 2 days of school a week, she would leave them home for 8 hours by themselves while looking after a 2 year old girl. Didn't do their school work, grades started slipping.  Thats just not how those boys, or any kids, should be raised.  They told both their parents they want to live with dad.  Dad lives with me.  I am like an Uncle.  Have known them for many years.  Can hear them laughing right now in the kitchen eating fast food, or I should say playing with it!

I have not opened my mail, in fear of what it says on the inside.  I have always had a good job, paid for everything myself, gave money to friends in need.  This is hard for me, cause I have never been in this position. So now working a job I make a third of the money I used to, the mail just collected.  Then the bad news hit.  Its time to go to court.  I am facing foreclosure.  Not a cool thing at all, no matter what the situation, or for who.  So I started calling creditors back.  Yes, its bad.  This is where I really need your help.  I really don't want to get into numbers, but I owe a lot.  Not just my mortgage, but my credit card too.  All I hope for, is to get back on my feet.  I will work my job that pays a third less than before, just to help my best friend.  Mind you I am still looking to get back into my field of work.  

I am not looking for millions, although that would be nice!  I would really like to keep my house, so I can keep a place for my best friend and 2 boys to stay.  Anything that you can donate, would be greatly appreciated.  Anything.  So I thank you for your time, and please tell your friends about my troubles, so they might help me before my final court date comes and I lose my house.
