Seeking Assistance In Paying Off My Debts

I am seeking a solution to my current financial
problems caused by both accumulating bills during a
period of unemployment and financial scams which made
my situation even worse. There is much I would
like to do in life, but cannot due to my current debt. |

To summarize myself, I am a highly educated and
fun-loving person who seeks to understand the world
and people through my very curious mind and personal
activities. I have degrees from the University
of Wisconsin-Madison and the Milwaukee School of
Engineering. I opted to follow the path of IT
education, because I love computers and using
technology to help people. Unfortunately, the
economy changed just when I was starting on my career
path in 1999. Companies changed to relying more
on outsourcing to complete IT projects. I tried
to adapt, but my assignments were short-termed and
insufficient for me to keep up with the constantly
changing world of IT. |

Facing decreasing IT opportunities, but also having to
pay bills, I returned to office work just to have
something, but even those assignments were temporary
and did not get me anywhere career-wise. |

In the meantime, I was attracted to various
"schemes" to help me with lack of income.
I received "checks" in the mail which turned
out to be fraudulent. One such check damaged my
checking account, resulting in losing checking
privileges. I am unable to have a bank account
until I am able to pay off this debt. |

Fortunately, I have found work in the form of
self-employment. It pays current bills and part
of my debts. However, I have a huge student
loan, about $22,000, that is currently unresolved and
beyond all "forebearances". In total,
I am roughly $25,000 in debt. |

I will never be able to get any justice for the money
lost due to online fraud since the
"donation" was anonymous and untraceable.
The best I can do is warn people not to accept any
unknown "checks" or "money orders"
even if one feels desperate to have funds for other
urgent purposes. I scan and report such emails
as I get them. My donation is PayPal only, as
you should understand. |

I have been there facing both loss of my car and
apartment due to low income, but I made it through
with the help of family. But, I cannot rely on
those who have their own bills and needs to take care
of, too. I have responsibilities, too, for my
sister (lives separately), who requires a caregiver to
assure proper medication and supervision. She
needs me to drive her to her bank and activities that
interest her. |

In summary, I like the idea of helping others with
one's skills. I am very good with computers and
programming. I run three websites, two of which
are mine ("Speedyhunter" and "Beyond
the Rim"). I want to help people find
things on the web in the way that they prefer and in
new, creative ways. The Internet is a wonderful
tool to help you explore the world around you in ways
that were not available in my earlier days. Make
the most of it!
