My wife and I are trying to raise money in order to get a new business off the ground.

She teaches children, ages 7 to 14, self esteem. She has a real connection with kids. She works in both
the public school arena and various churches. The kids really love these classes. She has been doing this for over 25 years
but has always had to work on a shoestring  budget. She teaches etiquette classes, manners, self esteem, confidence, proper ways to dress ,  respect for their parents and friends, proper behavior in public, and many other subjects that kids today need. She also does adult seminars, but her heart is for helping the kids.

Over 5 years ago , she lost her job and was forced to move away in search of another source of income. As you can imagine, this has really put an emotional strain on us living apart all this time. It also has put a huge financial strain on me as I have been trying to keep up with all the bills.

My own service business has also suffered the past few years due to the economic downturn. I have fallen behind on my bills and find it more difficult each month to handle the bills. I truly believe in her ability to help children with her knowledge. I keep asking her to come home but she is afraid that her being back here will put additional financial stress on me if she comes back without a job. I hate to admit it but she is right. We miss each other dearly and long to be back together.

I am getting close to facing foreclosure  on our home, which would then put me out of a home and of course give her no place to come back home to. She wants me to help her in this business to handle the business end of things while she handles the classes and the kids.

Your contribution will truly help us get this business up where it needs to be. We want to be able to offer these classes to under-privileged children that cannot afford to take the classes. The classes are very inexpensive, but for some they are still out of range price wise. Right now, we need to rely entirely on the generosity of friends like you. Please help make a difference in the lives of children. She has even done classes for free in the public schools just to help reach as many kids as possible, but that is very costly to do.
Again, we desperately need your help. Any amount can and will help.

The money will be used to promote this endeavor and pay off bills that are piling up.
Our hope is to be able to hire and train others to help teach these classes. It seems each time a doorway appears to be opening in this endeavor, something always comes up and delay or stop any progress. We need to do some major advertising to get the word out about this program. We are tired of living apart. Having this business expand and grow and been her lifelong dream, and I have always supported her in her dream. We have only seen each other 3 times in the past 5 years.

We have been married for over 25 years and plan on staying that way, but it gets increasingly harder with each passing month not being able to be together. My mother passed away a couple years back and my father is in a nursing home for the rest of his life, he does not know who I am due to his sickness. Unfortunately, we have been unable to have any children of our own, this may be partly why she is so interested in helping children.
