My plea remains the same; however, my property has now entered into foreclosure and I have a court date of March 13 for a last chance to redeem my house.  Again, this is where I live. 

It is fully paid for!  Why should I have to lose a place only to have to go somewhere and pay rent?  This is where I cared for my mother-in-law before she had to be confined to a nursing home and eventually died the day before Thanksgiving.  This is where I cared for my husband (her son) until his death from cancer 2 years ago. 

This is where I raised my children (who are in dire straits of their own).  This is where I was living when someone with money paid the outstanding property taxes, literally taking my house right from under me.  That same payor could just as easily found out that people lived there and were having financial difficulties.  Even the attorney was surprised someone was still living there.  So what happened?  I am in a state of depression.  I was in depression in 2009 and didn't realize I had not paid the property taxes.  That has been my pattern for the past 2 years.  Not doing things that I normally would do ordinarily; or thinking I had done something when I hadn't. 

I get mail from the City thinking it is just the water bill.  I would not open the mail, but put it aside to "get to later."  Only problem, one of those envelopes from the City was alerting me that my property was in tax lien.  I did not notice this until a few months later.  I now have 2010 property taxes to pay, but if I had that money, I would, of course, pay the 2009 taxes.  But that wouldn't matter now because I need the FULL amount and the City will not work out a payment arrangement.  And each month, that amount increases because of interest being added.  For over 6 months I have sought help from organizations and foundations; tried to borrow from institutions, friends and family.  I have continued to pray for assistance in meeting this obligation. 

For the past year (since October 2009) I have tried to get a loan to pay off debts, do some much needed home improvements, and use the remaining funds to establish a base for future needs (including funding money-making opportunities).  But, my hopes have dashed due to a lower-that-acceptable credit score, which continued to go down. 

I have tried to locate private lenders, trying not to get scammed.  The need to pay the 2009 property taxes took priority over just wanting a loan in general.  I now need a loan for a specific purpose.  The clock is ticking and I am trying to remain hopeful.  Now, I need to collect no less than $6,500 dollars.  That is to cover the taxes and attorney fees.  I can't even win money in the lottery.  I had hoped that since I discovered this website, I would get the money I need, while also still exploring other avenues.

My goal is to be able to do the same for countless others some day (in the near future).  Suffering emotional pain and hopelessness is inexcusable in a world where so many have more than enough.  I am very sincere about that, and everything I have said is the TRUTH.
