Please help! My son is
13 years old and in the 8th grade. |
 |
He works hard at
everything he does. He maintains a 4.0 GPA and has kept
his grades up since the 5th grade. |
 |
He’s sweet and kind to me
and I have been blessed to have such a wonderful child.
He likes to tell me silly jokes so I laugh and he hugs
and kisses me every day, no matter what. He studies
hard, keeps his room clean and shovels the snow off the
walk for the elderly lady across the street.
|
 |
He is a Boy Scout (Star
rank currently) and plans on achieving not only his
Eagle Scout rank, but a silver and gold Eagle Palm as
well. |
 |
He has the opportunity to
go to Washington DC with other students. (We live in the
West) The only problem is that it will cost $4000. He
has been selling candles, fudge and even his old toys on
eBay to raise money and we haven’t made enough. I work
three jobs and there is not any more time in my day for
another job. |
 |
We don’t have family to
ask and the deadline is rapidly approaching. We would be
grateful for donations of ANY AMOUNT, even 25 cents! My
son understands our financial situation. His (our)
clothes come from the thrift store and we scrimp and
save always. |
 |
He can’t have fancy
electronics or phones and eating out is a rare luxury.
It breaks my heart to think of him being disappointed. I
want my son’s dream to come true. |
 |
He is truly one of the
bright and shining stars of tomorrow.
Please help us!
