Dear Lord, please help me.
 |
Abba, Father, my Daddy in heaven. I don't have
to tell you how great you are, but yet I say and sing
praises to you. I know you use circumstances to
bring me close to you. I don't know if this will
work, but you know my situation. I am not
begging, Lord, nor is it my intention to test you.
I am constantly at my wits end. You know.
I don't need to tell you. You know my struggles
and my worries. Forgive me...I don't know how
not to worry. My financial burdens are so great
and they weigh down on all other areas of my life.
I will try to be happy knowing that because you're in
my boat, I won't sink. You give me food and
shelter each and every day. You have given me a
wonderful wife and friends that care...a place to
worship you and learn more about you. Thank you
for being in my life, even though at times I wonder if
you are there...forgive my faithlessness. Thank
you for giving your only son, so that I get what I
don't deserve...your Mercy and Grace. Your will
be done. In Jesus name, Amen. |

I am not good at praying, but what I say, I try to say
from my heart. I play guitar and sing in church.
It is my way of giving back for the gift he has given
me. I enjoy doing that more than most things.
I am married and live in a nice house. My wife
and I both became self-employed two years ago and it
has not worked out. As a result, we have
incurred large debt. We have been unable to live
financially in a God-honouring way. No tithing
in a long time. We both loved to tithe before
all this, and it weighs on us that we can't do it.
I have started working as a truck driver (what I used
to do) and am working hard but it is not enough. |
| My wife is still in
business for herself and I want her to continue
because she enjoys it so much and I know that success
is on the horizon for her. We need to clear the
debt or at least get ahead of it a bit, so we can
start doing things God's way again, financially.
The Lord has unlimited abundance. This is the
only way I can think of right now to ask Him to send
some of that abundance our way. If you decide to
donate to our cause, I promise to pray for you and
give thanks to God for your generosity.
