Hello, my name is Donna.  I am like so many people that get in a tight spot and just really do not know where to go.  I saw this cyberbegging web sight and thought this can not really be something that could help.  How will I know unless I try?  I usually do not like to talk to people about my concerns, I like turning to God in prayer.  Perhaps he has directed my here to get some additonal help.

I regularly think of the song that goes something like this:  I’ve been a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king (queen).  I ‘ve been up and out you know what I mean, each time I find myself, flat on my back, I just pick myself up and start all over again”…

Being age 58 and working a full time job to support myself along with my disabled husband and my 81 year old mother is quite a handful at times.  I am not complaining just stating facts.  Fortunately, I have one of those 9-5 Monday through Friday jobs. When I am current, that is, however, being an auto claims adjuster that just doesn’t apply.  So 2 hours early to work, no breaks (except to go to the bathroom), and no lunch out (most times), and often time after the usual expected 9-5.  Not to mention the Saturday’s that also become necessary. 

I am one of the fortunate people, I have a job. Stressful, yes, necessary, yes, do not see an alternative.  Have food, clothing and shelter, two beautiful children, so it seems I should not even be going here.  But it seems too much to bare and there are things I would really like, that would give a measure of anxious relief:

1) I have a 1996 vehicle that I love, but, we all know, once it is paid for, then it begins to need repairs.  Last year needed $2600 for repairs.  Am looking to sink another $1000 again or more problems with it will happen. (New motor) not to mention they have told me that the transmission is next.  With job security where it is today for those of us over 50, am afraid to have any car notes that I might not be able to handle.  Have been through 3 company downsizings already.  Certainly can not count on any job.   

2) Of course as the bread winner must make house payments and that will not end for another 20 years. 

3) Maxing out credit cards has been a downfall I have because of my husband’s disabilities. They run the gamete (Wegener’s Granulomoatosis, sinusitis, high blood pressure, heart attack, leukemia, lupus, depression, irritable bowel syndrome, dementia), besides the prescription costs, have medicare, and supplemental Rx  plan that cost each month as well. My husband has had numerous hospital stays and the deductible must be met each year.  Then with uncertainties of the stomach must purchase meals out because of being unable to eat the planned suppers.

4) Take my husband and mother on a vacation.

5) Really big idea would be to stay at home and help both my husband and mother, they are not getting any younger ither.

All things considered life is still good with kind help from those who are able to help make a lot better.  With every kind consideration I say thank you now and may God bless you for any consideration you may have for me. Prayer’s in your behalf will be a constant bequest.
