Hi, my name is Kurt. I am a Alternative Health Practitioner. For the past two and a half years, I operated a small community focused Alternative Health Center from my home. (Recently I was forced to shut down) I along with a part time assistant who volunteered most of her time, help keep our small community based center up and running.

Some days we would operate for more than 12 hours. We are devoted to the community and very much dedicated to the service we provide to the less fortunate, uninsured, and underinsured or anyone who cannot pay for certain forms of conventional health care.

This also includes homeless individuals or those with no coverage for the alternative approach. The care that we provide is very simple to incorporate as a lifestyle choice and change. Our health care is also very much affordable. Often times we had to provide our care at no cost! On enough occasions we simply donated the care from our own pockets. We really do enjoy what we do. It is so gratifying when you can help people get well and feel better. Health and wellness is very much needed and sought after. This is how I met my assistant Grace. A gem of a woman who raised three children alone (I CAN’T STOP NOW!! You could really truly HELP.) without any sort of public/government assistance. Grace came to me with a severe fibroid tumor problem, one tumor the size of a grapefruit that caused great risk to her last pregnancy.

Grace had very little money, but was willing to volunteer or barter her time for a natural remedy to her condition. She also said she would be willing to later continue as a volunteer if I was willing to help other people with similar needs. Grace is fibroid tumor free today and gave birth to a beautiful bouncing girl who is about 2 years of age to date.  Our simple method to helping people get well is the use of proper diet and lifestyle change.

Equally important is a thorough cleansing and detoxification of the body. With these two simple means, we have encouraged  better health for many people, including some with terminal conditions. Within the 2.5 year period we have helped in excess of 500 individuals. The last six months prior to the shut down,  I put together a youth program for mostly obese children. More than fifty children were enrolled. This program included lessons on natural vegetarian food preparation, which was well received. All was fine until three weeks ago. We received a visit from a City Inspector who bestowed upon us two very stiff fines due to a new zoning regulation, that now stated in short that we could no longer operate in the current district.

Further, we were now considered an illegal entity and that we must shut down immediately!! If we did not cease operations, additional fines/penalties that are much bigger would follow. This was a shocking nightmare to us. 25 years prior to my purchase, A conventional Doctor lived and operated his office from this very location. This was unbelievable I thought. How could this be? I barely made the mortgage payment each month and now this! What about the people who came to us daily for health care?

What about the children? I CAN’T STOP NOW!!! Remedy, acquire a building in a commercial district, hire two additional staff people, pay Grace a fair wage and expand the service to accommodate more. This is what we eventually would need to do if our clientele continued to grow.
I CAN’T STOP NOW!!! Anything! Anything will put us closer to a New Location and starting up again. Someone out there who really understand and can afford it can donate a sizable amount to get us closer to a new venue.  Perhaps someone has a situation where a mixed use or commercial building could be donated.

Even if the building needs repairs( I am handy, I can do many things) This would be very happily and anxiously accepted. I JUST CAN’T STOP NOW!! ANYTHING AT ALL WILL PUT US CLOSER. We are willing to offer service in exchange for your generosity.
