Hello, my name is Carmen, I have worked all my life since the age of 14, and I am 55 years of age I am still working just as hard. I don’t mind working; I am currently looking for a part time job , nights and weekends,to get my life in a positive shape. I never fathom that I would be a begging strangers for help, specially asking for money. Right now I am desperate to the point that I don’t know what is going to happen to me, if a door does not open soon.
 

For the past 10 years my life has been a living hell, I contemplated ending it, just the thought of it scare me. I believe in God and although I feel as if he’s not listening or paying attention to my grief, trials and tribulations, I still believe that taking your life is not only the easy way out, is a sin, you don’t want to hurt your love ones that way and you really need to stay strong no matter what.beside this is not the legacy I want to leave my two kids
 

I’ve been a gambler for the past 25 years, playing the new York lottery numbers, every day I gambled between $60,00 to $70,00 a day, hoping that I would win some money for a house down payment, to pay all of my bills and help family and friends. How ignorant I’ve been, it still amazed me. I stopped last month, I don’t spend not even one dollar anymore, the New York Lottery or any Lottery are the biggest rip off and they are responsible for the downfall on the life of many people. Someday the legislator have to step in and stop the states for causing such harms to people. 

During the 90’s I incurred in a liability with the IRS of over $20,000 and with the state Department of over $15,000. They made my life a living hell for over 14 years I paid every month over $400,00 to both agencies. I have credit card debts of over $16,000, but the worse part of it is that know I am not a gambler anymore, I finally realized that trying to guess the winning numbers everyday is the greatest stupidity and on my part, I feel like a criminal, I robbed my family not only the financial security that they deserve, but I risked our security. 

For the past two month I borrowed quick loans from paydays loan sharks over $3,000, the interest every two weeks is over $850.00, I already took my vacation money to pay the rent, my husband’s vacation money as well to pay other bills. As of today one of the payday loans have a lien on my bank account for $1,600, there was no money in that account, but my account is blocked, the next thing they’ll do is go to my salary.  Another company already placed a garnishee on my salary for a credit card bill of 1,900. I owe in total close to $20,000.  Please help me with at least the $4,500. Owe on these paydays loans. 

I pray to God for an angel to come and help me, be my angel.  Please help me to at least have some little peace, I am so depressed that I spend all my weekend crying and praying. On the weekdays I have to put a good front when I go to work.  I need a good person that has the financial freedom I don’t have to have mercy and help me. Please help me;

By the way I tried to borrow money from many people, people that I done many favors, but I was turned down. I still pray for them, and I hope that one day they will need me again and God would allow me to have the means to help again.
