Help me if you can. I am a 61 year old unemployed man who wrongfully lost my job. I was a supervisor at a medical facility.

When I refused to disqualify new employees based on race and sex, my relationship with my director took a downward turn that eventually resulted in the termination of my job.

I've worked hard all of my life and have put a lot in to the community in many different ways. My wife and I worked together through many years helping to restore childrens lives that had been shattered from abuse. We did this for more than 200 children that came in to our home. Our home has always been open to hurting people. We've always been there to council and at times even help them with their financial needs.

My plan was to stay on my job until retirement. I then planned on spending my retirement years helping people who are hurting. My wife and I are volunteer ministers at our church who just want to do our part in making a positive impact in the community. I feel that I stood for what was legally and morally correct on my job. By doing this, I am now in a desperate situation. I'll do anything that I can for my boss, but, not if it's illegal or immoral.

Because of this, I've been unemployed for over 1 year and am now in danger of losing the home that we've been in for 18 years. We lost our medical insurance with my job. My wife and I both have medical needs that would have been paid for had I remained employed at the hospital. At this stage in my life and with the job market the way that it is, it is more than difficult finding another job. I have never in my life done something like this and I'm very humbled in doing so.

But, I'm asking for any help that you could give. We're behind $7000.00 on our mortgage and the mortgage company wants it caught up immediately. You could give in to my paypal account.

If 7000 people would give $1.00 each, it would catch us up on our mortgage. If 100 people would give $70.00, it would catch us up. In order for us to be totally out of debt, we would need approximately $70,000. Again, with enough people helping, it would take very little from each of you to help with a monumental problem in our lives.
